Creating Log in Credentials

In the platform, navigate to the Lists tab on the left hand side of the main screen then click on Employees in the center pane.

Search for the employee that you are creating log in credentials for by placing your cursor in the first row of the column First Name and typing in the employee's first name. Then click on the correct employee record to open the employee profile.

Next, navigate to the SMARTASSET VISION tab and enter the username and password the employee will use to access the application. If these fields are already populated, make note of the username and password, along with your company key, as all three pieces of information are required for the employee to log in successfully.

Note: If the Username and Password fields are grayed out, the credentials were created in your ERP system and are being synchronized with SmartAsset. Any updates made to these credentials in the ERP system will automatically be reflected in SmartAsset.

Registering Device and Logging in

The first time you access the app, you must register your phone as a device. Click on Register device from the main screen. Next type in the Username, Password, and Company Key from the SmartAsset platform. Click on Register Device and allow ALL permissions such as Bluetooth, Location, and Notifications.

Once registered and signed in, the app will start configuring your equipment and work as mobile gateway to detect BLE tagged equipment in your proximity and provide additional equipment details.
