Monarch App Instructions

Downloading the App

If navigating directly to the App Store, search Monarch – Fleet Manager.

Log In

For the initial time logging into the app, you will need to establish your login credentials through Single Sign On. For Single Sign On (SSO), follow the instructions below.

To log in, click the Sign in with SSO button at the bottom of the app and click Next.

On the next screen type in the Company Key that has been provided to you from the SmartAsset Onboarding team. Click Confirm.

On the SmartAsset login screen, enter in your login credentials that you use to log into the platform. These credentials have been provided in an email from the SmartAsset team. Click Sign In.

Vehicles

Get real-time updates on vehicle and driver information, including the current GPS location of the vehicle, ignition status (whether the engine is running or off), and additional metrics such as fuel levels, speed, engine health, last ping, and how many stops the driver has completed.

If the user would like to drill into a vehicle for more detail, select the vehicle that needs to be viewed by clicking on See vehicle on map.

This option is in purple beneath each vehicle location.

Once on the map screen, the user can access camera footage (if applicable), view the breadcrumb trail by day, or message the driver (if applicable).

Messages

Communicate with drivers from any location to inform them about important updates, including new stop locations, required maintenance, route changes, or any other information they need to know. This ensures that your drivers are always informed and can adapt quickly to changes, enhancing overall operational efficiency and safety.

In Messages, under Contacts, users will select the person they want to message by clicking on their name. A text box will open; the user will type in their message and hit the send arrow next to their message. Note: If the message is urgent, the user can check the box that says “Send as high priority”.

Map

Access a comprehensive fleet view effortlessly. This app displays every vehicle and asset on an interactive map.

For users who wish to change the layers of the map, they will select the layers icon in the upper left corner and select from Road, Terrain, or Satellite.

To change the date to view additional breadcrumb trailers, users will click on the truck in the map. In the upper right corner of the map screen click on the calendar. Next, click on the Selected Date field and click on the displayed date. This will open the calendar for the user to choose a new date. Click OK in the upper right corner of the page to save the new date.

For users that have dashcams, they can click the camera icon and they can stream the footage once the camera is selected.

Menu

To explore the various drivers and available facilities, track vehicle locations, and effortlessly share a specific vehicle's position with someone, navigate to the Menu in the lower right-hand corner of the screen.

To view drivers that are on the platform, click on Drivers. It will display a list of drivers in alphabetical order.

When exploring the vehicles assigned to a specific facility, begin by selecting the Facilities section within the application. This area presents a detailed overview of all available facilities. Once you identify the facility of interest, click on the name of the vehicle linked to it. This will take you to a breadcrumb trail that will be displayed on the screen, providing a clear and intuitive path back to your original list of facilities, ensuring a seamless user experience.

To check a geofence, click on Locations. This will display the geofences that have been created in the platform for the account.

If a position is needed, click on Send Position, and this will open a message box. The options for sending a position are SMS and email.
